Playing as the main striker should be good for him, but.... it didn't help Shankland due to the lack of decent service.

Hopefully playing in a better formation with a better system will help things along.

As for Clark, I would (that's just me like) play him along side him, he is good in the air, has a nice touch...

    442.... Oh yi Fuc*er
Play Clark in a two and he'll score goals. I've said this forever. One his best games for us was when up front with McNulty vs Hamilton at Tannadice. The link up play between the two of them for our second was outstanding.

If his attitude is the same this season he'll soon know about it with fans being back in the ground.

You can say the attitude of all 3 strikers last season was questionable to say the least, usually when all 3 were on the park and getting no service in all but one game!

He has already said on his video interview that he isn't match fit yet. Only time will tell. Hopefully in our favour .
That's the problem with signing guys so late in the window as we all know. Out of favour at his club so no game time. He's been training with the u23's as well so his pre-season has probably not been what it should've been either.

I think its a bit desperation on both sides we need a striker, and we can get him on loan, Reading manager says he is not good enough at this level but hes a lovely lad, i am not even sure he really enjoyed here, but seems not lot offers and transfer window closes in 3 weeks, you take gamble will another team come in for me, or do i train next 6 months with under 23s.. I hope he does lot better than last season, but i am not convinced hes any good..go on Mac prove me wrong, i will be more happy if you do.

    Mark McNulty

Welcome back, and don’t give the doomsayers here anytime they’re all bampots

I remember sitting in the pouring rain at parkhead singing “we don’t give a monkey”, as septic easily beat us three nil and Jorge cadete scored on his last game for the hoops

That year, 97, we played good football and finished 8 points above hearts in third place

We can do the same or better this year IMHO
