Great stats, which back up what a lot of people think, that recent results have disguised some very below average performances.

I think our season hinges on what sort of Cal Roberts comes back, the one from the start of this season or the one from the end of last. And even he might not be enough while we have such a pedestrian midfield.

The evidence suggests that Ardley hasn’t got the faintest idea of how to keep it tight at one end while creating chances at the other. We rely almost wholly on individual moments of brilliance, which just isn’t enough to get promotion.

Some interesting points raised. Agree that loss of Dennis plus unexpected departure of Thomas combined most importantly of all with the lengthy loss to injury of Roberts has had the biggest impact to this season to date.

Very difficult to replace the goals and assists of those 3.

Of it's not easy to get both sides of the game (with/without the ball) working well. The teams that do get promoted. Ardley clearly hasn't , and looks likely that being excellent defensively this season but largely ineffective in an attacking sense will take us to the play offs.

Get them both badly wrong as we did two seasons ago = relegation.

Disappointing yesterday in a big game but we know we can't deal with an energetic high press. Good job the rest of the league haven't maybe got the players to do it cause you can bet your life all the managers know how to play against us to stop us getting out or creating anything. Still all depends on the next 2 games, a couple of good results and we're still on track. I do wish we'd drop Doyle though and get forward quicker. Also Knowles in from the start please.

No probably not, I think Stockport will be favourites even with their mixed form of late. On paper few harder fixtures in this league ming.

They've dropped points against some interesting or as you would call them part time sides.

Hard to quantify it but it's definitely impacting the Goals For column but clearly helping the Goals Against column.

You've done it again...
You've now mentioned the build a bear win that no one cares about.
You've hit the nail on the head though with your mention of their recent poor record.
We should be going into this game looking at positives a hit like my positive prediction.
However we all know NA will take his cautious approach upto Edgley park set his stall out for a point.
We have a cautious start which invites them onto us and they grow in confidence and realise that actually the game is there for the taking.

It's a good job out late new signing Hector Sam isnt a part to this negativity and scores 7 in the last 3 minutes.
Sam is actually bought on to add height in the box at defending throws and corners not to have the ambition of having a shot.!

Done what again? I was just confirming the two games against Stockport we've played this season. Obviously they don't count cos one was in a NL cup competition (I don't care about it but some do) and the other was at home so that's not fair to mention lol.

Not sure how many have gone to Edgeley Park and really attacked them, maybe it will work. I doubt Cautious Neal will.

When you predict Notts scores I've spotted a trend, either you predict us to lose or to win scoring 7 or 8, real extremes. Safe to say split personality, half pitchfork half rose tinted.
