BT ---that begs the question ---is it the government or, as Norder intimates, is it way beyond governments? This isn't just happening in our country, it is happening in lots of other democratic countries throughout the world as well as the communist countries who tend to have to do as they are told.
Who is really pulling the strings?

What does it matter who you voted for, it makes no difference at all, both Labour and the LibDems go along with everything this set of fruitcakes does and even demands they go further down the Rabbit Hole. Thought you'd have known that BT, do you never read the papers ?

Johnson now looks likely to offer/insist on jabs for 12-15 year olds, even though they are in the "not at risk" bracket.

I note with some disdain we are all still subjected to "Emergency Powers!" Why?

Now the eejit has given himself the power he does not seem to want to let go - does he?

I'm totally ashamed to live in this country. I wonder if I can find evidence of an Irish gran?

.....of an Irish gran? BT? What about a Jewish gran? ;-) ;-)

Oh! by the way. Egypt pumps toxic gas into Gaza tunnel, three Palestinians dead . Egypt has destroyed more than 3,000 tunnels along its border with the Gaza Strip in the past six years. But shhhhhhh Egyptians?

    https://www.jpost.com/breaking-news/...ns-dead-678464

“In 2015, the [Egyptian] government took a decision to establish a buffer zone along the border [with the Gaza Strip]. These tunnels were used to threaten Egypt’s national security, including the infiltration of terrorists, smuggling of weapons, ammunition, goods, narcotic drugs and vehicles. We established the buffer zone in stages because residents had to be relocated. They have received compensation,"

    Other news:
Gaza's ruling Hamas terror group on Saturday launched over a dozen of incendiary balloons into Israel, seeking to ratchet up pressure in order to ease a crippling blockade of the territory.

Hamas plans to continue sending incendiary balloons over the border and into Israel until "the siege is lifted," Palestinian media reported on Saturday.

Border Policeman St.-Sgt. Barel Shmueli, who was critically injured on Saturday after a terrorist shot him on the Gaza border. ( yes harmless Palestinians ??)

Likud MK Nir Barkat has asked Knesset Speaker Mickey Levy to launch a commission of inquiry into the IDF's rules of engagement regarding Gaza, specifically regarding the confusing instructions given to soldiers on the ground.
This comes following the death of Border Police officer St.-Sgt. Barel Shmueli, who was shot by a Palestinian on the Gaza border in a riot last week.
"The government instructed the IDF to contain the rioters on the Gaza border and not cause Palestinian casualties ahead of Prime Minister Naftali Bennett's trip to Washington," Barkat said in a statement, adding that the soldiers were left exposed and confused by these instructions.

Hold your fire ,then they shoot at our soldiers!!!

Because last March our MPs voted to extend those 'Emergency Powers' for another six months. A quite large group of Tory MPs voted against the extension and asked Labour MPs to support them and vote against the extension as well. If Labour had voted against the extension the government would have been defeated and there would be no 'Emergency Powers', but they didn't they voted for the extension.

So the answer to your question BT, why are we subjected to 'Emergency Powers', is because Labour MPs voted to allow the government those 'Emergency Powers'. And very soon the government will be asking for a further extension, and Labour will vote it through again, and when they do please don't come on here moaning about it, and asking why, oh why, are we subjected to 'Emergency Powers', the answer will be the same, because cretinous Labour MPs voted for them.

And do try to keep up mon ami, I can't keep explaining absolutely everything to you.

When Little Cuck boy in Canada Trudeau has purchased Wuhan "Vaccines" until 2024; do you think this just going to go away anytime soon? Of course the Opposition will vote more powers to govt. They need to be ready for the next variant to come on the scene in force as we go into Winter. It's like a real life conspiracy theory unfolding in front of us all. The media is all prepared to go with it. At this point does anyone think that this will not happen and the Uniparty will not extend the powers govt needs and love?? Tory/Labour, its hilarious and the joke is on us all for believing this crap.

Thank you chaps for your response to my little fishing exercise.

It's clear and obvious the status quo are fond of their current undemocratic power trip and Deadly Dave there is not a cat in hell's chance of this crap ending anytime soon.

Our antipodean cousins Down Under are all virtually under house arrest, and no doubt the same measures will arrive here from our former criminal colony sometime soon.
