This is like watching Notts, 1st a goal from breaking the high line leading to a 1 on 1 with the keeper. 2nd from a penalty and the 3rd from a kicked pass out by the keeper that went to a Leicester player....DéjÃ* vu or what Leicester could have had 5 or 6.

But Leicester's defence started it. And if Swansea's No4 hadn't stood there with his arm up for offside he might have had a chance at a recovery.

Still a woeful from Swansea but they were never going to win this match.

Durham Pie's post re Keith Curle was first class.
KC had a very productive away points tally with an effective game plan and system.
The problem as DP quite rightly stated was that he consistently played the same way at home. Teams came to ML respecting the point and parked the bus.
I remember a game v H'Pool where Notts had total possession and Andre Boucard was MOM and played like Pirlo . The game was a draw if I remember correctly.
The last home game that season v Bury saw Notts beaten 4-2 despite equalising twice. KC went for the win but a draw would have earned a PO place.

Just had a look. It looks like all the stuff we were concerned about - suicidal defending, especially away from home; asking the team to do stuff they aren't comfortable doing, not learning from mistakes and refusing to change an approach that is getting found out. He needs a few good results to turn this around or it could get ugly.

I genuinely hope it works out for him there.

Sounds like the definitive of madness , keeping doing the same things (wrongly ) and expect a different outcome.
Playing a back three , with the emphasis on attack v Bournemouth and Leicester is a good example of misguided belief.
LW is a good guy and I too hope he is successful.

With regards to Notts managers and worst results after 3 games , I well remember Eddie Lowe😫 a relegation season.The League Cup victory v Blackburn Rovers was the highlight of the season followed up by victories against BPA and Pompey before a 5 th home defeat to Man City 0-1 (again) as in the Feb 62 FA Cup tie.
Blackburn had Keith Newton , Ronnie Clayton Mike England , Fred Pickering and Brian Douglas in their team at the time.
