    Not too keen on such "tributes" during football matches, but it does seem to be more relevant than banners being displayed in your ground in support of Irish, Palestinian and Catelan "freedom fighters".

    Seems like a nice thing for the club to do.

    If it gives his friends and family a degree if solace then that is all that matters and I cannot fathom how anyone could have a problem with it.

    Personally, I think it's going too far.

    Employees of the club, or ex-players only I'd say.

    I think the club were put in an awkward position by the local paper and didn't want to look like heartless c*nts by saying they weren't doing anything.

    I call it Princess Di syndrome...ever since she passed away, the British public love to show public shows of emotion.
    Folk mourned more for her than they would for their own mother.
    That and annoying c*nts on social media with their #prayfor"X" nonsense.

    It's a horrible story...a 26 year old man with a wife and young child passing away. Tragic and sad...

    But in my opinion a minutes applause at Pittodrie isn't necessary...
    that said I'll no doubt join in when I'm there.
