Seems like Josh King is also currently interested in Josh King too. I wonder if he'd like to paticipate in this thread? - view external link

I can't comment on his play for us but I did catch the Euro qualifier between Norway and Italy. He was a handful at times for the defenders. He was able to move the ball quickly between his feet and get attempts towards goal (I believe only 1 on target). I don't know how GB sees him or what position he should be playing him in but I can't understand him not getting much playing time. I can understand not playing every game but I would expect him making more appearances than he has so far.

Injuries (of which he has had more than any of the others I will here...) and not being as good as either Rhodes or Gestede, and not as effective out wide as Marshall, Cairney or Conway are the main reasons.

If we need to cut corners then propel him towards the exit door - especially as we dont have £750 million shirt sponsors(who got rid of 14 first team players off their wage bill)!

Also by keeping King,we are blocking the progress of all the other wingers such as Green & Conor Mahoney.

The playing staff is still too top heavy for me.

Don't worry Bob, we're probably 2 training sessions away from having a squad of 9 to select from

I found that article title amusing (Josh King reveals frustration at lack of playing time at Blackburn Rovers)

I felt it could have just as easily read, Blackburn Rovers reveal frustration at lack of end product from Josh King.

Thought I would bounce this thread back up and see if any of you have second thoughts.

Two goals against Malta, surely he must be given a chance against Ipswich ???

Yes he scored two vrs a poor Malta side (Malta ffs!!!) and while away, has been spouting again...he wants first team football.

Did I miss something here? The manager played hin against a fairly average side vrs Huddersfield. And he contributed zero as per normal. The fate of our club is not decided away for Norway in Malta. He has to perform on our battle ground...and he fails each & eveet time he is given a chance. Too risky for me.

I fully agree and think that if he is unsettled then a move will be good for both parties.
