    Don't mention it.

    We used to have a good Fish & Chip restaurant in Baldock, called Taylors, very nice, Lassie probably knows it.
    It's changed hands now, I haven't been since so not sure of current standard.

Bennetts on the south side of Weymouth harbour is very good too as is Elliots on Hayling (near the Lifeboat Inn) It would be remiss of me not to recommend them.

    I have frequented the above mentioned Chiz, albeit 20 years ago or more, when I found the batter very slightly too saltified and the chips ranked as overtly soggy. It was marked down for those reasons and would not even make it into my all-time Top 50.
