I think they already had that when ukip kicked their backsides in the European elections not so long back.

the biggest problem in the rise of ukip imho is the increased probability of another hung parliament in may :-/

Already we are seeing both parties starting to "pay off" the UKIP voters with promises: just like in the Scotch referendum. This can only be for the good.

For a while I thought the LibDems would be able to form a cohesive minority party to moderate the extremes of the two major ones; now it looks like UKIP will occupy that role: or have a chance to.

    Now its a political debate
No you are not on your own. I'm ecstatic.
I know UKIP cannot get enough to win outright. There are too many sheeple(no pun intended) for the other parties to stop that.
    However, it's crunch

I wonder who bought up the idea that we live in a free country. I don't think we have ever been or ever will. From the times of Roman slavery to Anglo-Saxon feudal serfdom and later the Roman Catholic Inquisition we've always been under someone's thumb. Even the right to graze livestock on common land was taken away by the Enclosures Act and the Highland Clearances. Most people have three options, wage slavery making more money for the rich or being cannon fodder fighting the rich man's wars, and of course if you don't like that, starving to death.

If UKIP were ever to get elected it will be because there are so many stupid people in this country who believe there are easy solutions to complex economic and social problems.
As for the nonsense that I shouldn't question or ridicule other people's political kneejerk beliefs that is just nonsense. It is what political belief is about. I think people who vote UKIP are stupid. I don't need to prove it.
Like the little Englanders on here ever advocated the right of Sinn Fein to express their views.
The apologists for UKIP would have 5 years ago tried to convince me that the BNP had every right to express their views.
UKIP will die a death because its members will have too many racial, ***ual and criminal skeletons in their closets. FFS where did all the BNP supporters disappear to? And what other policies do you UKIP have? Slashing the NHS, tax breaks for the rich, fox hunting
And let's just say we do start to reduce the number of economic migrants who among you will volunteer to cle

How about voting green as a "protest vote" as opposed to a party who arguably have a fascist ideology? There's no denying the lot of them are a bunch of ****s, but some less than others. Whoever gets in, policy won't change too dramatically. It's now about sticking two fingers up at the tossers we've had to ensure for too long.

Probably because the Green party would double taxes to explore every green alternative they could think of. A windmill in every back garden, ban all cars and shoot every cow for farting.
Everyone would have to wear clogs and clothes made from straw.
Basie would probably masturbate himself into a coma.

The Greens have no need to double taxes, they would just collect that which is now being avoided. They are the party of Animal Rights so why should they shoot them. It's UKIP for some reason that wants to relax UK gun laws which is why Tricky is so
