Thread: by-election

    by-election

I'd like to make it clear to all, in light of the recent by-election result in Clacton, that I did not vote ukip and do not agree with their policies.
This post is not intended to start a political debate. I just want to disassociate myself from the people in Clacton who voted ukip.

    I can't think that it will... :-/

whether you did or didn't it's not really anyone's business but your own fella. certainly nobody's on here!

personally I think it's wrong that some people look down on ukip voters and don't see the need for you to distance yourself from anything but then again, that's your business. People have the right to vote, we live in a democratic society, that's how it works. if they storm it like they did in Clacton then clearly it's no fluke. maybe it's a protest vote, maybe people agree with what they say.

as for not agreeing with their policies, I'm amazed it's plural - there's only one that anyone knows about isn't there? ;-)

my own view, seeing as you've clearly started a political debate ( :-P ) is that anti immigration is by no means a 'racist' policy because there's huge impact immigrants have on both public services and the economy (bo

I would like it to be known, that in no way was it me that farted in the Green Dragon on Saturday night. I wish to distance myself away not only from the stink, but the persons who laughed with hilarity at this act.
I do not agree with farting, but do acknowledge that in a free country, people are entitled to fart if they wish. I'd much prefer it that, if people farted in their own homes and kept them to themselves.

    Thank you for your attention.

I am sure the feeling is mutual with those who did vote for UKIP.

I would like to disassociate myself from anyone who thinks other people's opinions are poncey. I'm not clear what a poncey opinion is so perhaps Angry can elaborate?
Is it poncey, for example to support the UK being in Europe?
