ok allow me to add 'in this case'.

if she's sober enough to walk in the hotel and to the room of her own free will, that's good enough for me to class it as BS.

maybe she just wanted a cuddle. I can't think what else she'd want to go to his room at that time of the early hours :-/

Along same lines, I know 2 women who have been victims of rape. One was gang raped by a group of lads abroad. Greek police didnt want to know. The other was too scared to go thro uk system to prove it happened when just her word against his that she decided to live with it instead

I didnt witness either so just taking their word for it. But both I believe I could see the wreckage it made of them

I am sure its a crime where some get miss accused, and I pray the system finds them out and deals with them. Unfortunately, I am sure there are thousands more crimes like this that go unpunished. As a bloke, that doesnt give me any satisfaction
Thankfully he didn't get time for it as she admitted she was lying about the whole thing, but only after a month.you no how far a rumour can get in a month and her family were out to get him.i do feel for women who get raped as i

So one video (from his own website) is enough to convince you it was BS??? Why didn't it convince a judge and 12 jurors who heard far more evidence than us in both the original trial and the appeal?

Elite, thats my point. I dont know if he did or didnt. What is a fact is that a jury made up of open minded people like us who have seen all the evidence found him guilty beyond reasonable doubt. For us to proclaim he was unlucky just seems niaive to me. The jury must have seen evidence that twitter doesnt show us. Even an independent appeal found him guilty.
I just hope he devotes his time to clearing his before he returns to the professional game.

A bloke can get convicted of murder when he was hundreds of miles from where it took place but the jurors still found him guilty.a witness said they had seen him at the scene and the jurors thought that was enough to convict him even tho he wasn't actually there.he was eventually let out after 20 plus years after some new evidence came to light which proved he wasn't there.evidence or not they still got it wrong.

Polish, I get your point that the system can get it wrong. But it has to be 1 in what 1000...10000?

The jury are asked to pass judgement based on beyond reasonable doubt. They dont have to proclaim certainty. Having twice been declared guilty, it doesnt preclude him from arguing his innocence, but its his job now to prove it, having twice been judged to have wronged this girl

Throwing mud at her role in this does nothing but distract the issue away from Evans. Had he been a decent human, he wouldnt have been anywhere near that room. He'd still be playing football, and we wouldnt be having this debate

    FFS...he aint even any good!
