So, because one player is an idiot, we scrap the Academy. Brilliant!! I wish I had thought of that. Actually, while we are at it, let's scrap the club. That will save a lot of effort by a lot of people, will free up a Saturday afternoon, and will bring an end to the need for the endless claptrap about the Academy and young footballers in general.

Well said, Tim. I do wish that I had not made my comment earlier about a crime against a police officer should be treated no different that anyone else. It started WW3. Pleased to hear that the two victims from Crewe have finally been recognised for the appalling way they were treated by the not so great train robbers of 1963. Makes a change from hearing about the superstardom status of the culprits in that robbery.

I cannot tell a lie, I have seen the film "Buster" and I watched Mrs Biggs with the wonderful Sheridan Smith, both of which I felt were accounts of what happened afterwards. I didn't feel either glorified the robbers and I enjoyed both productions. But like you, I feel some recognition of the victims is long overdue.

Off topic, but my Dad was the 'expert witness' taken to Bridego Bridge to examine and explain how they 'fixed' the signals. He hated the robbers with a vengeance for the rest of his life.

Colclough? I'll wait for the CPS to make a move and then a verdict ... and if he's Guilty he should go, immediately.

For me it's a lot simpler than waiting on a verdict of any up and coming court appearance. The lad has not played football for The Alex for at least 12 months now, and it doesn't look like that will change in the immediate future due to yet again Ryan having court appearances and all what that involves.

So for me he is not doing the job he is paid for and is dragging the good of Crewe Alexandra down as well. Now don't get me wrong when he had his last brush with the law I could appreciate that everybody deserves the chance to prove their innocents, but Ryan doesn't seem to be able to keep himself away from trouble.

So for me let him go so he has distance from the game, do what he needs to to get himself sorted and you never know without the support behiind him of Crewe Alex he might just wake up and realise what he's doing with his life

Agree with a lot that has been said. Probably time to let him go, and then we can free up wages for LDV.

Pardon me for butting in here, but I can't help myself. Surely to 'rape is rape' is stating the obvious? And homicide is homicide, otherwise it would be something else?
And of course a woman can decide half way through that she doesn't want to have *** anymore. Or does start give the man a right to continue no matter what?
    Anyway, I blame the academy.
