"We believe he has served his time," Corney said.

Club sponsors have been told to prepare for confirmation of the Evans deal.

I reckon he was wrongly convicted in the first place.
The Deal is off as Oldham has finally seen sense. Not surprised that an attention seeking Dlck like you would be throwing yourself head first into defending the piece of Shlt.
So William you don't think Evans should be allowed to earn a living from playing football eh??

Too much personal abuse Wills...calm doon.
Oldham Athletic have decided against signing convicted rapist Ched Evans following threats to the club's "staff and their families.

If he was in almost any other profession he would be back working by now.

If only life were as simplistic as you seem to think it is. In fact many ex cons have a great deal of difficulty finding work in any environment.

But poor old ched. Have you thought about a candlelit vigil for the poor lad?

Not many ex cons have a national public campaign against them getting back in to employment...what exactly do you people want the lad to do??...never earn a living from football???

That's a reasonable point but to say if he was in almost any other profession he would be back working by now is childish nonsense. He may or may not be.

Fortunately I dont see things as simplistic as you.

No really Mook they obviously wanted the lad at their football club but some folk have upped the ante by threatening violence against employees and their families at the club...sad feckers as the boy guilty or not guilty has been punished and done his time.

Why do some folk not want him to be able tae earn a living???
