So, this Sarver guy is the 'new' saviour. He's offered £20m for the club and then proposes he's going to put in a £6.5m loan, as part of an overall 'investment' of up to 20m.

That sounds good for Sevco at first sound until you think about it...the fans are just finally getting some real Rangers men (sic) in ownership (at least a bit) and this guy wants them to sell out to a complete unknown with entirely unspecified goals. (Though it's probably a complete coincidence that Sports Direct have their US headquarters just outside of Phoenix.)

Also, that amount of cash, amazingly, wouldn't be enough for them to do much more than just survive another season by the time we factor in the McCoist and team payoffs (~£2m), loans to Ashley (3m), operating losses (~8m a season, conservatively, given the downturn in attendances this season) and that's before factoring in team rebuilding.

Is this new bid good news for Rangers? Can it save them?

You clearly need to get out more LL. FFS folk are folk and it doesn't make someone better or worse just because they happen to support a team.

OK certain clubs, and political parties, attract a certain element of kn0bbery. And this WATP and GSTQ stuff should have hee haw to do with fitba but alas is spouted by very many Sevconians, but there are genuine guys out there who by accident of birth, or liking the colour, or geography, or whatever now follow
