Thread: Sevco reject Sarver again

  1. #1

    Sevco reject Sarver again

Don't they want a man that has bid £20m & wants to inject £6m into the club immediately? Looks not.

Just to update all the Sevco fans & AJ on here as I know they keep a keen interest in developments.

    The main news though is:

The comedy fun continues! - view external link

Will Sarver come back a third time? There is only so many times that an offer will be made. It does not look like there is an alternative offer kicking around. How long can the club continue to live from hand to mouth living on loans that have to be paid back?

I just don't get it tbh. I'm no fan of Sevco but you have to feel a bit sorry for their fans at this stage.

This continued refusal by those on the Board to accept a financial package from someone with big business acumen is akin to the Captain of a sinking ship refusing aid from another ship for fear the other ship after rescuing the passengers might get some salvage.

    It's bizarre

    Possibilities:
There's something about Sarver or his bid they dont like.
    Theyre morons
They value the club higher (so theyre morons).

I must say I dont feel sorry for them one bit

It's hardly the fault of the decent Sevco fans (there are a few out there you know) that those pulling the strings at their club seem to be making an utter horlix of it, and refuse to accept help when it's very obvious they need it.

The warring factions egos and personal greed have triumphed over what is good for the club. At least it puts all the waffle about these vultures and potless businessmen being "good rangers men" to bed, it's all about how much cash they can extract from the assets and the fans pockets.

Not saying it is their fault (although the fans as a whole are far from blameless and their arrogance and puffy chested WATP attitude has been a massive part of the problem) but the entire saga is just absoutely thoroughly enjoyable.
