Don't agree on the subject of segregation.

Thought Queens did the right thing - you can't legislate for a handful of drink crazed idiots doing what they did. There should be absolutely no reason why rival supporters can't sit relatively close to each other with a couple of rows separating them.

If people let themselves down they could just have easily caused trouble in the terregles street end

In any event according to the official crowd there were only about 1500 in the new stand so plenty of room????

There ended up being no segregation and it was a bit of a shambles . The terrace should of been opened . What's the point in spending money on it and not using it .

We're lucky that the nutters deciding to congregate at the other end of the stand and not in the middle .

Those 2 St Johnstone casuals them came looking for bother got exactly what they deserved . Two grown men acting like kids

Great performance from every player yesterday with Higgins catching the eye for me. He just seems to get better as the season goes on. Dowie and durnan were not far behind. It sowed how good they were when st Johnston had a lot of the ball in second half with young jim having very little to do. Defensively we were brilliant and when we went forward our passing and movement was excellent.

I was surprised at saints. I really thought they were poor, particularly the left back and tam scobie. Every time we got at them they looked panicked, and I forgot McFadden was on the pitch until someone threw a snowball at him in the 90th minute.

The one thing that annoys me is the reports going on about o'hallorans missed chance. If the game came down to missed chances then we would have won 7-2. Think the press could give a bit more praise about queens performance as defensively, which is a huge part of the game, we were dominant and we had more purpose about us going forward. Basically IMO we hu

Congratulations to the whole team. I couldn't make it down and had to watch the highlights at night. Great performance and although the Saints made a late rally, Queens looked well in control. Its so frustrating not being at Palmerston for exiles like me. I was disappointed though by the small crowd at the Portland..I though it would be packed.

Just a question for the experts on here..What was the attendance for the Dundee quarter final 8 years ago? That game will live in my memory forever. The feelings I felt at the time of the chance to see Queens at Hampden in a semi-final cannot be expressed. Let's hope for a repeat!!

Sorry can't agree I was literally sat next to Saints fans there was no segregation.
Stewards struggled at kick off and through game to stop their fans wandering where they wanted including the two idiots who ended up on the terrace.
Thankfully there support were ok in the main wouldn't have fancied being so close to many another set of fans.

2 away fans on the terracing and there ends up being bother. Just imagine if the 2 had have been 200? The over spill we saw was a close shave for us.
Lucky those snow balls didn't end up being thrown at the home support instead of the pitch.

Some of us don't need to imagine - we can remember.

I certainly think going to football nowadays is much more civilised and safe than it used to be and is most welcome.

As a previous poster said, I am all for supporting your team and generating atmosphere through singing but against all the nonsense of smokebombs and confrontation.

Every Club seems to be affected by this now as these little groups creep in and seek ever more attention.

I would take yesterday as a blip as we were caught out by the numbers of visiting fans and had to adjust rapidly.

I certainly didn't think they would bring nearly as many, as they are generally poorly supported. Of course, the Cup - and them being holders - can have that impact.

When Dundee brought around 1,000 for the final game a few seasons ago it seemed to pass without incident, the difference being that was planned for in advance.
