Agree with that. I'll forget more than I'll remember but the decade started on the back of the punk revolution. Moved into electronic and synthesizer. Hip, hop. House. Rap. A range of rock variations. A second coming of Ska and Mods and the birth of the music video and the personal stereo...to a few.
