Chansiri isn't the problem, as I believe his target of premiership football is very serious..and he'll do what it takes to get us there..He isn't a desperate chancer..of whom the desperate chancers on here accuse him of being..The problem is 'modern football..The working class are being priced out of the game..look at the prem..A completely different breed of fan graces the stands now..It could have been done better..and season tickets on finance are definitely the way forward..Not possible for everyone i know..Maybe some deals will hopefully be introduced, especially for families along the way..Ultimately though, if we want top earners gracing the hallowed desso..then I'm afraid to sustain it, and not do a forest, blackburn etc..then we're going to a large degree, have to pay for it..as the top end clubs in the championship are getting richer and richer...Self sustainability is near impossible these days, yet no less *****..I,m sure that all avenues of potential revenue streams are be

Chansiri, by his own admission is not a football or Wednesday fan, he is a business man who bought Wednesday cheaply and has invested some capital into the club to make money. Thats his interest not the football.

[quote="aussieowl"]The walk up price for the Bristol game is steep no question but while not thinking it's the best way to go for an opening game I''m not quite ready to slag off the club just yet.

The only way to really tell what is going on is to wait till season's end...only then will we be able to see the average price for walking up to a game, there are eight categories, I assume all eight or at least seven will be used at some stage, no point in issuing redundant categories, when we can see the average then maybe we'll see what's going on.

This could be a smart move by the club, they've left themselves a lot of wriggle room if the feedback from the Bristol game is too negative, they can claw back 'confidence' in prices through the season if they're smart enough without looking like they've back flipped...to me the opening game looks like a sounding board, hopefully they'll respond accordingly.

I can't see Cat. A* being used much if at all unless it'

They've got there in the end and announced a family discount.
This was without a doubt my biggest issue with the new price structure and the club have moved quickly to sort it.
Credit where it's due, well done WEDNESDAY
