    At the end of the day 2.5 or 3 mill who cares we have the 60 mill from the Prem plus a few years of the parachute payments .[/quote]

    Perhaps you could use it to bring your ground into something near the 21st century.

    Maybe you should spend some of the 60m on trying to keep some of your players you actually think Micheal Keane is a better player [!]128516;[!]128516;

    If your apparently so flush why have you had to wait till we brought Shackell to bid for the has-been that's Lansbury oh and by the way the fee of 3m+ is pie in the sky

    The fee is £2.5m rising to £3m if we are promoted within 2 seasons

    To pay around £3million for the best Championship centre back and one of last years Premier league top centre backs is one of the best bits of business to be concluded this year.

    He's here for 3years and if he goes before that we'll recoup money back.

    Are Burnley fans disappointed? of course they are, they've just lost their best player since Frank Casper. Let's be honest here, we were disappointed when he went to Burnley and he's a better player now than when we had him.

    Well done Derby for this great signing. Our gain and Burnley's loss.

    How can they replace him for £3million? they can't and that's why Sean Dyche is trying to make the right noises to disgruntled Burnley fans.

    Shackell used to live next door to me when he played for Barnsley, big fat sod always eating junk food.

    Here's another junk food eating footy player. Not done him any harm.

    You just happened to live next door to Shackell in Barnsley and you are a Burnley fan. Hmmmm that really is coincidental isn't it?
