I've never met Scully but as a Pompey fan I hope he's ok, whatever his misfortune. I've been through about as much as a bloke/family can go through (x10) and come out of the other side (going to FP helped me massively) . So, Scully. Trust me, you will be ok. xx

I'm still around and look in most days!! Not much to comment on though......Pompey playing ten times better than last season, the season before and the season before that one, oh and the season before that one!! Are we going to do an Arsenal and go the whole season unbeaten?

re: Where have all the posters gone?

Thank you all for logging in and making yourselves known. It is good to see that so many are alive and relatively well and supporting Pompey @ FP and also at the Away games.

We have a busy three weeks: two home games this week , both of which are potential banana skins, and two weeks of away-days to cool Cambridge and the west country. The law of averages for this season at least says two wins and two draws, but you cannot legislate for that in Football. We could just as easily win all four, lose all four or draw all four.

Will we suffer our first taste of League defeat? Or will the resilience that Cookie has instilled into the team keep us on course for a terrific season? Firstly, we have to give Exeter a dressing down at home to make up for that unfortunate and some may say unlucky defeat in the Cup.

This time luck should play no part and we must dominate them from the get-go. Remember - this week is the anniversary of that famous 7 - 4 win against Reading in the Premiersh
