I agree it would certainly be a massive achievement Pocket.
Hopefully he will do it but even if he does things off the pitch will have to be looked at in terms of budgets etc.

As soon as the going gets tough the leeches are out..they will no doubt be amongst the 3 thousand missing next season if we go down..as for even saying one wrong word about ts beggars belief..

Tony Stewart has bank rolled the club from division 2 to the championship, with 2 promotions & keeping Rotherham United in the championship last season.
Steve Evans a paid employee of Rotherham United came as manager to a struggling team, got the 2 promotions, again did his job to keep us in the championship, but he found the job tough this season,to which he made mistakes in the transfer market, with the likes of Halford, Collins etc, to which he knew he had dropped a bo**ock.
We don't know the circumstances as why Evans left the Millers, one reason doing the rounds was Evans asked for more money for players, after finding his transfer dealings in the summer were below standard.
Could be Tony Stewart said, you have had money for transfers, be it you have signed the wrong players who could take the Millers to a respectable position in the championship, so there is no more funds.
What Tony Stewart needs is someone who can invest in the club, to share the financial burden of overse
And who in their right mind would invest in us? To compete at this level would take mega bucks with little chance of a return
Tony Stewart did Andy and we were a far worse proposition back then pal.

What To
I still dont get that evans jumped ship..fair enough, could be true, but id like to see some proof before it goes in..i reckon he was sacked..
But Tony Stewart is a local man, at that point the club couldn't get much lower - he's invested, given us more than we dare dream for.
I just can't see anyone else wanting to come in - we're close to topping attendances and are already over achieving. Personally I wouldn't want anyone else to come in. I trust TS after all he's done, I'd always be wary of these investors with no local connection
So what made Bournemouth, a similar sized club to ourselves, an attractive proposition to a billionaire when some people on here think no one other than Tony Stewart will be prepared to invest in the Millers?
