    What are Walley or Cuppies!!!!!!!!..Lived a lot but never heard of them,...
    If Ralph,....had a problem with his hair,....Can"t Say I Noticed.....LOL...

    Walley - played by 2 or 3. You take turns to kick the ball against a wall but you only had one touch and you had to kick it before the ball stopped moving from the previous players shot. What you tried to do was get the extreme edges of the wall so the next player had a long shot from an extreme angle. One miss and you were out

    Cuppies - Just a game with a small number of players played on the streets. Can't remember the exact rules now seeing as it was 50 years ago that I last played it, but I think the idea was you all played against each other and the first to score 3 was the winner

    Yep we played Wally and Cuppies but we called it 3 and your in .
    Also we played keepy uppies , crosses and headers and penalties .

    It had to be Andy Payton, especially when he was playing and scoring for us at Barnsley

    I still dont know who you are Turfy, and how old you are either, but let me suggest players like Gordon Banks, Peter Shilton, Stuart Pearce, David Beckham!, Bobby Charlton, Geoff Hurst, & Gary Lineker.
    I wish more club fans on these boards could be England fans as well instead of always knocking their country/Intl team.

    All great players that you mention,pearce stands out for me as he was a tough tackling no nonsense player who gave his all and wore his heart on his sleeve,maybe not the greatest england player but my favourite non the less..
