A lot of the people on here make me despair. there are basically two types of "ultra-loyalists" on MM. The first type are expats who for obvious reasons don't go to (many) games but are desperately nostalgic about the old town. They don't have to suffer watching garbage so can spout guff all day long. The second lot are the diehards. Well, sorry to tell you boys that just like the Labour Party Tony Stewart doesn't give a flying f*ck for you because you're psychologically so committed to the club you have nowhere else to go. In short, you're irrelevant. The people who actually matter are the 5-6000 floating fans who want to be ENTERTAINED. They won't put up with the light bulb king's bullshine and nor should they. Put up or leave Stewart and take your cronies with you.

    True Monty.

Floating fans have never really seen the bad times because they don't turn up when the chips are down.

For people that have seen the dross we've had to endure over the last, 10, 20, 30, 40 years its easy not to moan as we all understand these are the fekin good times.

You floaters keep moaning if you like. Its your prerogative but floaters come and go don't they.

Wouldn't want to be in the trenches with any of you like!!!!

To be fair, Monty makes very accurate points. Football is an entertainment business at the end of the day. If RUFC wants to grow, expand the stadium, go for the Prem then they need to attract more fans. Floating voters if you like.

You either support the club or not.

    Fickle springs to mind.

If we're winning I'll go if not I'll not bother.

    Unbelievable

I know we got some very clever people on this forum it's prob a question for a separate thread but I will ask anyway.
If we increased our stadium capacity to 16K. How much more revenue would it generate for the club assuming we sold same % of season tickets/ match day tickets

That's what some football fans are! It can't come as that much of a surprise to you surely. The last time I looked the majority if big crowds are at clubs who are at the top of their respective league. You don't need to bother finding a few examples to disprove this..I said majority.

4000x17(not all at Adult £25) x 24 (23 league and hopefully at least 1 cup game at home) = £1,632,000
