Missed out on Bradshaw etc...to Barnsley ffs!...many others turning us down as per usual.

I cannot speak for the lightbulb world but in the Championship hardly having a team of any sorts one week before the season is not great preparation.

We have just played our best team against the mighty S****horpe...and lost!!

We are mainly made up of last season's players who have shown that they are not good enough and it all looks very bleak.

Million pound bids blah blah blah...every season we hear the same thing yet we finish up with a rag tag army of players on invalidity benefit or about to draw their pension.

Let's see that wallet prised open and the colour of your money.

I reluctantly submit that Kempo is correct though, it's the same spiel every closed season. Talking about ambition and being ambitious are totally different, if we wanted Bradshaw we should have have paid for him.

Thing is GM, there isn't that kind of money. Maybe one £1m player, if we are lucky.

You might find it boring,but its not crap.The facts are we have signed a Walsall player who wasnt regarded a loss by the fans,and a player who didnt want to really come here,but thought us a better shop window than the reserves.Oh,we also recalled a player from non league,who seems to be our main hope for goals,and a player who wasnt regarded good enough for Tranmere by a MR Moore a few seasons ago.
Sorry if i havent wrote any hippy **** like,I"ve got a really good feeling for this season.or i think Stubbs is gonna be great,i"m just stating the facts.

Maybe this season will turn out to be a disaster who knows I agree we need players.

If I'm a happy clapper ok I can live with that but I'll be there home and away.

Personally I think we should judge the situation in a few weeks in terms of what's been spent and who we've got in just my opinion not a fact.

In 4 or 5 weeks without 2 or 3 more players (2 strikers) we will be bottom of the league with Zero points. I am with Kempo and his multies on this topic. Oh i will be there home and away as well dosent change the facts we are not prepared for this league as of yet. Still wishing for those players to arrive .
