OTR Agree about Grant that's a strange one but he is in final year of his contract As for Martin I'm a big fan as a player As a person don't I don't like him Seen so many times at away grounds refusing autographs for young kids he's big head You only have to see him around Derby in his Bentley thinks he owns the place Afraid he picked on the wrong person with Pearson that's why he's. gone

I Can't say i've ever seen any arrogance from chris martin.
He always seemed like a good bloke to me.

Bit strong that Paperclip. Agree totally about the holding midfielder but it's not all doom and gloom. Martin has been misfiring and looking disinterested for a while now and £10+ million for Hendrick looks very good business to me so it's hardly a Docherty style dismantling.
On the plus side we've signed two strikers with very promising reputations and I am genuinely enthusiastic about the signing of Anya who seems versatile enough to play either in midfield or as an attacking left back.
As I say, I'd have loved the holding midfielder problem addressed and I don't understand the Grant business...certainly would never have him down as one of OTR's 'disruptives', but let's give the manager and his signings a chance before writing it off as 'awful business'.

The problems of Bent, Baird, Johnson and Ince are not of Pearson's making and if he can get more out of the last two, who both have huge potential, then we'll be on the up again.

I tend to agree that Grant is probably not one of the disruptives; from what I hear, he seems to be one of the nice guys. I suspect one may have departed, but I also suspect one is still here.

Think it's fair to describe Grant as a 'model professional'...albeit one inclined to unfortunate, usually televised, occasional mishaps.
Can only imagine that the other you have suspicions about may be one who, although a decent player, could also have a little bit of 'previous' in terms of dressing room unrest.

Yes I think we are referring to to the same person. I have heard several reports of disruptive behaviour from mates I have on a other team forum. No smoke without fire I reckon and leopards do not change their spots.

If that is the case I am glad. As I say, I am only relaying info I have heard and one of the chaps is quite well in at the club.
