Certainly is Cheeks, any interesting story behind the name?

There was a lad in my class at school who'd been named after a couple of tough men film stars and it seemed he wanted to live up to the names at the age of 11/12. Unfortunately and sadly he is now detained indefinitely (in Rampton I believe) for a horrific murder.

    PS Welcome back

One of the teachers at our little un's school is called Beth Speaker. I used to run with her and we are friends. When Beth was at Uni she saw on the student list that there was a bloke called Tom Speaker at the same Uni, so she looked him up to see if they were related somehow. They weren't, but they ended up going out together and eventually got married and became a pair of Speakers.

I just found out I have a meeting tomorrow with someone called Deanna Russ. I hope I don't blurt out "Do You Know Where You're Going To?"

Also remembered that I often had meetings with someone called Cate Eaker and often wondered what it was like to be one swapped vowel away from being associated with scoffing baked goods.

    That's brilliant, Sota!

I think there really was a Mr and Mrs Balls who named their daughter Ophelia but this has now moved into the realms of the apocryphal...

I'm not going to contribute because as CT says it would be apocryphal and as a former boy scout I cannot tell a lie.
But congratulations to Cam on a great thread. It does show that the "keep it to football" mentality is wrong as this was great fun, no controversy, no insults and even brought Cheeks back from the netherworld. Well done. Btw, Cheeks, I hope that Kane wasn't chosen for the well-known spanking mag of that name (well-known by some anyway)?
