    The world will be a much more dirtier unpleasant place and much more prone to erratic climatic change. He is on record as saying that in order to boost American jobs he will relax pollution controls and ignore agreements of global warming. Hilary Clinton in her farewell speech said "God save America and protect the planet". I doubt whether that will happen under Trump.

    Good posts OTR...although I was feeling a bit better about things till I saw those.
    Then mista finished me off with the prospect of Johnson and Trump - the hair bear bunch - discussing foreign policy...

    Got a funeral to go to this morning...might be more cheerful...the wife's padlocked the cutlery draw and hidden the shed key just in case.

    Believe it or not Trump was the best man for the job. Because Putin hates clinton with a passion and we could have had WW3 on our hands.

    Not only that but she is Obama's buddy, who came over here and told us that if we voted out of the EU we would be at the back of the queue for trade deals, Whereas Trump says we will be first with Nigels help.

    Its happening, the US has chosen the UK to be the European hub for the repair and maintenance of the F-35 fighters. The world;s most advanced warplane. Contract worth £2 billion. Not going to the EU, nice one.

    Would that not make this country a target ? Plus the fact that all warplanes are an abomination and an affront to civiiiation.

    Oh marvellous, so you're cheered by the fact that we're likely to become a frontline military base for a maverick madman. Can't say it fills me with confidence and you seem to have overlooked the fact that, despite having six (I think) attempts, 'Nigel', as you refer to him, has failed to be elected to any representative role at all within domestic UK politics.

    I stand corrected...Farage's electoral record is...in football terms;

    P7 W0 D0 L7...so he's going to gave a huge input.

    Tomorrow is Armistice day when we remember all those who fought for this country to protect the freedom you now enjoy. We have to defend our country and if that involves F-35 fighters you should praise the pilots that fly them.

    As for nigel Farage he has been elected by the people of this country for over 20 years, and also came out on the side of the winner in the US election.
