I suspect 'terrifying' will be a more appropriate word. The play-offs, Brexit and now Trump...been a bad, bad year.

Well that one surprised me, Trump in as new President!
Will be interesting to see what job he does!

We have to ask why they wanted Trump in!!! Americans don't want a muppet as their President so they must think he can do a job of making America better than what it is, and a better place live. I for one thought Clinton would get in but the American nation has voted for a massive change and they've got what they voted for, I suppose he knows how to run a business and if he can Run America in the same way it could prove good for the USA.
Lol...I must admit I expected that from somewhere. IMO it's a nonsense but he's been elected by the rules so I have to accept it. The 'rules' also say that the result of the UK Referendum was only ever 'advisory' and that Parliament has to be consulted. Not me or the 'Remainers' who are threatening 'civil unrest' now if things don't go our way...that's all down to 'Nasty' Nigel's tangled web of lies and duplicity.
There should be a re-vote because all the Trump supporters have now changed their minds now the dollar has dropped a little and there isn't going to be a massive wall built along the Mexico border... they were lied to!
Jokes aside, there really wasn't much choice for them other than extroverted evil and introverted evil.
Fascinated to hear that 29% of the hispanic vote was for Trump. That strikes me as being up there with turkeys voting for Christmas
..... bur Adi is right: it was a choice between too very imperfect candidates. Against any other opposition with credibility neither would probably have won.
One statistic to please Mangara...only 14% of the eligible voters voted Trump in via the primaries, and a similar level for Clinton. America is hugely apathetic in the candidate selection stage although more turned out when he went head to head with Clinton. Thats 14% needed to get the selection of your party. Makes 37% look pretty conclusive.
Farage always seems to get away with it. Whether it's saying stupid things then laughing it off, saying he's going to take us out of Europe or being the only politician stupid enough or brave enough to stand side by side with Trump on the election trail.
Can we have a whip round to get him a season ticket for Derby?
Sorry Andy, I don't get the link to my post.
