Totally agree with you Whicka, Pardew is trying to play some decent football, hope he gets it right sooner than later.

I would agree with you GLM but the two main points are always - do not concede stupid goals and you need to score at the other end. I rattle on about Defoe as an example, but Sunderland are like us now - they could not score in a brothel. Whilst Rondon works really hard, he could not get a goal if the keeper was from the blind school. The shot he had in the second half on Sunday would have had more power from a 10 year old and it was straight at the best keeper in the world!!! Robson Kanu is championship!!! I do blame Pulis for the fact he should have spent the wages on a top goal scorer as opposed to the Pole! Even Woods as Mick said would have been a huge improvement. Pardew might play better football and wave a magic wand but it's goals - goals and more feckin goals we need!

Pulis can now go for 2 in one season by helping relegate us and Swansea.

    It looked more like 4-5-1...

4-3-3 mate which dropped to 4-5-1 when defending but definitely a 4-3-3. Which went 4-4-2 second half with Burke up top and strangely Liverless on the right wing.

Big Sam has done zero at Everton apart from the new confidence factor a new manager brings. Not being critical of Pardew after a few games but we were a shambles at Swansea and he admitted he picked the wrong team on Sunday. Good start Alan.........

Even if Barry Fry was our manager, with the best squad for many years, you would still hope to see an improvement year on year. On that note, it's early days, so we may finish a tad better than 10th!

We are in the brown stuff if Pardew does not get a result on Saturday! Can't keep blaming Pulis and yes it was the right decision to get rid, but are not convinced Pardew is the knight in shining armour and it's no coincidence that Newcastle supporters are having a laugh. Then again, did you expect our Board to get a proven manager with a record much better than Pulis ? Everton would have broken the bank to get Big Sam who would not have given us a second glance...........
As I said earlier Al the players are still Rubbish. Pardew cannot change that until he signs his own players.he is trying to polish a turd. There maybe no money left because your hero has wasted the lot. More money than any manager in our history. His squad, his mess End of.
Pardew said he picked the wrong team. When did Pulis ever take responsibility for anything? Always someone elses fault.

If the players are still rubbish, we will settle for a top ten finish again this season

Pulis not my hero, as said he needed to go after the Huddersfield match but hey - is Pardew such a great improvement and one with ambition from our Board? At least with the same games left season on season ( more or less ) Pardew should aim for a top 10 finish ( with the rubbish players )

Does anyone know how much Pulis spent in his 3 years at Albion? Not Net spend , total spend From Macmanaman to Gibbs?

You've spent the last 10 months defending the idiot. In fact you laughed at people who called for his head and at times insulted us. And yes the players are rubbish. My eyes tell me so. You spent months keep harping on about being 8th repeating yourself over and over again. And now your doing exactly the same thing now about finishing 10th. And you'll no doubt use the word "Newcastle" 100 times more in future posts.
Pulis wasted tens of millions, ripped the soul out of the club, showed no respect for tradition or the loyal supporters who followed us round the country,. Publicly slagged off Chadli, Fletcher and Foster while taking no responsibility whatsoever for seriously stupid tactical desisions and team selections.
If Pardew keeps this rabble up it will be a great achievement which if course you will then say you knew all along.

You really are a complete tool.

I can't think of words to explain what an idiot you are when it comes to football.
