The thing that pees me off about the whole disciplinary system is that it punishes the fans / club - not the player. Sadly most players have little loyalty to either so have no incentive or reason to behave in the first place. Whilst spitting is clearly unacceptable I do question how a leg breaking/career ending tackle warrants 3 games whilst a bit of spit (as disgusting as it is) demands 6.

On a game connected observation ....they paid 1 million quid for THAT pitch ... I’d demand a refund ! ... and ring the Shrewsbury groundskeeper up !

whilst what Saiz did was most unpleasant, he hasnt shot anyone, so im not sure i get the hysteria. Not too worried about the upcoming games either, some on here talk like theres some kind of massive gulf between the top half and bottom half of the championship. From where im sitting, theyre all shighte bar Wolves, anyone can beat anyone in our league, and we quite often do well againt the better sides and lose to the shighte. Im sure Hernández (by far the best player at the club) will do the business during then next few days, throw in a couple of Roofe hattricks and its all good. Why all the doom and gloom.

Concern for me is Saiz has dragged us through some games when we have been poor..fair enough we shouldn't fear anyone in this league but I fear our own indifferent form(see Brum away Forest at home for more details).

Proof will be in the pudding..be interesting to see where we are when Saiz ban is up..both on and off the pitch(new players bought in TW).

    Watch this space....

We are still in the bloody playoffs for God sake, you make it sound like we are 12 points away from 6th and all is bloody lost, wake up some of you, we are still very much in the promotion race and it's just a good time for the club to prove they aren't a one player team, yes Saiz has been our playmaker this season, however it's time for the rest to show how much they want promotion, starting with our next game!

cant believe people think Saiz is better than Hernandez, he might be in time, but Saiz oozes potential, hernandez oozes class, just a shame we didnt have him 5 years earlier.

Realistic is the Rev clive..supported this club long enough to realise just how quickly it can all go tits up!

6th spot with 4/5 clubs breathing down our neck clive..2 poor results in the league followed by the humiliation of Newport..hardly ideal going into the Ipswich game is it?

Transfer window should be interesting and the outcome of it will tell us a lot.

Tell yer what..I won't say f*ck all till Saiz's ban is over..then lets have the 'have we missed Saiz' discussion then.

The Rev - over and out!

A better team with both available BB..that is the point..if Pablo picks up an injury who do we expect to pull the strings then?
