Not defending the guy (just the opposite), but what do folks think about the prospect of him being approached by others, and his likely attitude to such am approach if the club fine him), particularly after the stupid decision to field the guy on Sunday)? Do we/should we care?

I dont think its realistic that another club will make an offer for Saiz in this window, if there is one it would have to be a silly money bid. Not much point worrying about it now until it happens.

The club have to take some form of disciplinary action for his conduct as its clearly not acceptable behavior and sets a bad example to everyone else that has an interest in LUFC. Saiz should be man enough to deal with the consequences of his actions, even if he feels he was provoked.

Hopefully whilst Saiz is out TC works out a more balanced system - I dont think the first 11 have enough about it to really accommodate Hernandez and Saiz. Also hopefully if we stat in the hunt for the playoffs, we get a refreshed Saiz coming back to the team with something to prove.

Not sure we have rounded enough midfield central duo to try 4 4 2 - Vierra will get there and okane could play it but would need a strong parter we don’t have.

Away from home could try 5-3-2 going to 3-5-2 when we attack but ... need fast quality full backs and would struggle to lwb atm unless Santa brings a belated present in the transfer window.

    Sad, just really sad.

Love intensity but spitting? In the same category as biting.

we are hosed. one player should never make a team but.

I hope that Dallas heals up fast.

Spitting is probably the most disgusting inexcusable act a player can commit, and this is (probably) the second time in a few months he's done it. He's clearly got a spitting problem like Suarez had a biting problem, and if he does it again I hope he never plays for us again. To me LUFC is not a club like some others that puts up with this kind of behaviour, turns a blind eye if the player is 'too good', so he needs to buck up and start behaving like a decent footballer or as far as I am concerned he can f00k off.

Would it have anything to do with him languishing in the lower Spanish league until Leeds picked the short straw.

Panic over ............... it's OK because he has now apologised. Well that's alright then; had me worried for a while there.
