I don't think you should take a bit of ribbing as terribly serious. Specifically, there was lots of chatter in December about how Wilder wouldn't be backed, how we'd sell our best players, how Wilder would walk and go to another club because of it. Any of that happened? No? Wilder looks to be well backed to me, he looks totally onboard and loving the life at SUFC.
So, my views aren't rose tinted. I can see exactly where the club is currently and I'm happy with it. Do I want more, or course I do, but I'm looking forwards to how Wilder might develop his squad, not backwards to grudges from years ago.
I was criticised myself in December for my view. I just thought it worth a little tongue in cheek celebration, a small acknowledgement perhaps that things had gone well? I'm not singling you out at all, as you have complimented the club on its transfer window, but if others want to sit po-faced awaiting the next disaster, rather than enjoying this period of progress, well I just find it a bit sad that I'm not allowed to challenge that.
