Everyone can “share Concern for others” not limited Just to Labour supporters.
I never mentioned Labour
Unless you were on the receiving end of this stigma you can't know just like us whites can't know what it's like to be black & when Rashford states that he is from Wythenshawe & black you dismiss it out of hand
It wasn’t relevant to the story that he was Black. It detracted from the message. Especially with the recent events. It implied, and read that he was highlighting a specific group of people, and that sentence shouldn’t have been in there. It didn’t need to be said. All races have poverty in this country.
And no Exile, you didn’t mention Labour.... but we all knew, in time it was coming....didn’t we!

The real truth about the UK is that it's a low tax , low skilled economy for the most part .
Too many people live pay cheque to pay cheque and when something goes wrong , sickness perhaps , the car packs up etc etc then it gets extremely difficult , there's very little margin for the downside in life today .
To have any kind of decent financial life you need two decent wages coming in , my mam never worked until both myself and my sister left school and we could manage on my old mans earnings , we weren't loaded but we didn't go without either , far from it .
They wouldn't have done it today .
Schools are not only about education they are child minders too with both parents having to work .
Society has drastically changed over the last fourty years .
I never mentioned Labour

It contextualised the concern
Surprisingly when the news broke there will have been millions who would not know of Marcus Rashford as not everbody is a football fan
I think Rashford's letter is also about what's coming down the road has we get hit with a huge recession .
Whilst the government have protected millions of jobs and supported business throughout this pandemic this isn't free money .
What they have done is to pay the country's mortgage using a credit card , the billions they have borrowed will have to be paid back .
This is when things are going to get tough and as ever it will be those just scraping by who will be the one's affected the most .
Taxes will have to go up but you most definitely won't see any improvement in public services , jobs are going to be hard to get so pay increases will be at a minimum and companies just looking to survive .
If houses start getting repossessed and negative equity kicks in then we are really up against it .
Could be the worst I've seen and I've been through a few .

Then the correct headline would have been “Footballer Marcus Rashford............” irrelevant that he is Black.
Just imagine the impact .......”White footballer Jordan Pickford .......”............

It was Rashford who described himself as black & coming from Wythenshawe
Do you have some problem with that?
