    That’s something that I don’t do.
I never suggest what players we should bring in.
Playing Positions yes - but not individuals.
Because whoever I suggest, the club will have already run the ruler over that player and another 100 like him.
So it’s a waste of time.

I had to laugh at the Wednesday commentators at the end of our game today, "I like Woodrow he would fit into our team perfectly he's just what we need" Trouble is for once we have a player they can't afford and to boot would he want to drop back to League One
As for Styles everyone can see what a fantastic talent he is, every game we play someone from the opposition commentary box says what a player he is! It is a matter of time before someone comes in with a wages offer that we can't match and he will be off like a shot, with the immortal words of the CEO stating that "we couldn't stand in his way" and "absolutely ALL of the fee will be re-invested in the squad".

The irony is of course Perky is that we paid £1.1m for Woodrow exactly at the same time they bought Rhodes for £12m .

As for Styles it would be foolish to sell the lad in January in my opinion , we all know he's going to go to the PL and fair enough but the smart move is to keep him at least till the end of this season and see his value grow as a consequence .

Yep ..... why sell Styles in January or next summer for say £2M when they can keep him for another season or two and sell him for 2x 3x 4x or 5x that money ???
I’d say the board knows what they are doing - but they have fallen foul a couple of times.
Potts - they put a doubt against promotion when they sold him - luckily we still got promotion.
Moore - selling him was the worst bit of business these owners have done. They didn’t need to sell him. He could have easily been persuaded to stay. That sale nearly cost us relegation last season. And just imagine where we would be now if he was still at the club.

Anything less than £10m for Styles and we've had our pants pulled down in my opinion Nudge and I want at least a 15% sell on clause inserted too .

This kid is going to the PL and so the fee should be reflective of that and not some mid table championship club for £3m .

That's how this strategy is supposed to work like it does at Brentford .

Speaking of strikers and how Victor has surprised us this season, with his effort and workrate and some skill as well. Do any of us still regret missing out on Lyndon Dykes now, especially as he chose a Qpr team over us who are now looking like real relegation fodder.
