    3 - 5 - 2 / 5 - 3 - 2

3 at the back, middle 3 using central midfielders and then interchangeable wingers / wingbacks.

    Two new lads up front.

I think that would in league one. We certainly looked deadly when Cheo got down the wing and we missed that this season.

An unambitious and not very brilliant suggestion

Just go out and poach the Accrington chief scout. They seem to be able to get these lower league and non league players in abundance.

    Exactly

Yet another example of how a good support staff can produce dividends

Not necessarily the manager but those that support him. Assistant manager, defensive coach, goalkeeping coach, scouts etc etc

I still think RUFC need to strength these positions to get the best out of the players we do ultimately sign.

What about Barry Fry in charge of finances, I'm sure he would get more money for our players, when we
sold them, compared to Paul Douglas etc.
Must be only bloke who has envelope size pockets.

The three new signings would be manager, chairman and head of recruitment. Without that anything else is pointless.

Huddersfield Town release attacking midfielder Alex Pritchard aged 28 years, I'm
not sure whether he was mentioned a bit since of being a possible signing.
Could he do a job for us in division 1.
