I agreed with JT and the council that the potential was a bit on the frightening side. That was one of the drivers to make the changes to The Derry, that and some over officious senior filth officer in the stand judging the fans in The Derry.

Council wanted The Derry condemned after that game. It took a fair amount of negotiation to get the council to agree to the compromise of barriers at the front, blocking the end and the entirely unsuitable and completely stupid (IMO) filtering of everyone through entry / exit at the back.

I really think the club regrets doing the alterations and that they wish they'd just bulldozed it.
Was the parent or guardian reported to social work?

I don't really care to be honest. It's all in the past now, nobody was hurt and I've moved on.

Surely the police officer who saw this should have reported child neglect and most respected being so respected would have had a duty of care to a potentially "trampled" child.

Let's face it the club and fans have bent over and took a stiff one up the arse and the flashbacks are haunting us to this day.

    No confidence in stadium manager.

Agree with this Deeranged. The trouble is that the SE has not moved on. am I correct in saying that there are current ST holders who have seats for this season in the SE? If this is so then surely the club has a responsibility to honour them by getting the SE back into use?

Pretty sure there will be ST holders in Main Stand and SE. However the Motherwell game is a cup tie and STs are not valid so I would guess the club feels under no obligation to make those areas available.

Telling game will be next Sunday when all season ticket holders will expect, or even demand, that their chosen seats are available to them. I'll be demanding nothing because once again I have other arrangements and won't make the game.

Just a thought cause as rros says it looks like our stadium manager cudna care less if open or shut.
Sadly that will not work as the money donated by Foundation members goes directly to the club bank account.

That is 100% correct, running water doesn’t need to be hot, it’s in health and safety regulations

Only way forward is to upgrade as best they can with basic facilities and general tidy up. It's just an eyesore atm. The derry was at its best when it went full length and we sat in the seats next to the provide ala darius Derby goal.
Time for the club to explain and get it sorted out.
Someone posted on another Dundee FC forum that the club should be installing a couple of toilet portakabins at the rear of the South Enclosure to solve the problem on a temporary basis for this season until it can be permanently resolved.

Agree about the Hibs game. I thought that ST holders who had not managed to get to the St Mirren game were being given tickets for the motherwell cup game? Is that not the case?

Is there soap or a liquid soap dispenser available to wash your hands after either a pee or a number 2. I always thought that hot water was required to help kill germs when washing your hands.
