The owners will stay I'm pretty sure of that because they are arrogant and won't want the other clubs to think they will just jump ship? They will believe Cole will hit 40 goals in League One and bring us back up so he can be sold for a big profit!
Realistically he will struggle like most of the youngsters left to pick up the pieces and we will drop to League 2 and end up in administration!

Warning signs are theear Perks. Whether folk decide to see em is another matter. I'd personally be surprised if we weren't in league 2 by the end of 2024 or even out of business.

This so called group of professionals (PMG) have seen a possible opening in football where they could make a few million pounds risk free. Business people don't let opportunities like that pass them by. If they fail(which it looks like they're gonna do at Barnsley) then what have they actually lost on a personal note? Nobody had really heard of them before and I somehow doubt they will be well known in the future either. Meanwhile they made millions on the sale of Nice so they are in profit whatever happens at any of their other clubs.

They said that they were going to internationalise the club 4 years ago. How exactly did they ever intend to do this, what purpose would it achieve and what have they actually done to internationalise us???

They said that they were going to make the matchday experience better- What have they done apart from driven away the fecking very fans who backed the club by purchasing season tickets in the middle of a global pandemic knowing full well that they'd never see a game.

They said that they believed they could take on Patrick Crynes ideas and use their business experience to make it work better. The only thing I've seen is that barring Keiffer Moore, they have failed to make a significant profit on anybody they've signed.

The club is in a reight mess. This lot don't care. They haven't put any of their own money into it. If it folds then they haven't lost owt. They just walk away.

    Spot on Pass.

This is just a financial exercise and experiment to them. A game to play in European football to show how soccer could maybe be run using some American ideas and financial models. It hasn't worked at any of the six clubs in the portfolio,

The key thing is that it is all at no financial cost and financial risk to themselves so, as Pass says, if divisional retention fails and it all spirals downwards, they care not one jot because they have not lost any of their own money.

Just before I cut to the chase with this post I'd like to point out that I've spoken to Luke Goddard three times in my entire life and only very briefly at that , twice at Oakwell and once at The Garrison when he did his presentation .

I've absolutely no FACTUAL information on WHO any prospective buyers of this club would be and I've not signed a NDA so this post has to be treated as pure speculation on my part and nothing more than that .

As I've stated before I was told at The Garrison presentation that the prospective buyer has strong sponsorship links to the club and with ESR acknowledging there is perhaps a prospective buyer and given ESR when he lets things be known about the club is very rarely if ever wrong I thought I would actually SPECULATE on who they might be .

I don't think there's anything wrong in that and it's only my opinion and nothing more .

I think The Investment Room could be the prospective buyers in my opinion .

They are a local company with a bob or two behind them .

With the Oakwell stadium and land dispute causing some what of a stalemate between PMG and Oakwell Holding The Investment Room who are in the property development game seem best placed to not only buy the club but return the land and stadium back to one entity .

They seem best placed to cut through the red tape in my opinion .

Now of course this comes with some concerns if I'm right but none the less just as long as the clubs future remains at Oakwell along with the Training Complex and Academy what do I care what they do at the back of the East Stand .

However if this is a sprat to catch a mackerel and property developing comes before the health of the club then that's a different matter altogether .

As I say I'm only speculating , no pun intended of course .

Speaking of Luke, I noticed one pratt picking at his video and his comments yesterday on you tube.
I left a reply saying people like him who choose to support owners who have put us in this position, are the problem here (or words to that effect).
But that conversation has been deleted, maybe even by Goddy himself. 😛

And yet certain d*icks on there (like Sam Mulholland) can carry on posting, and taking the mick ?. 😕

And speaking of fans doing that, did anybody see yesterdays match report page on the Bbc, and the comments section ?.
I din't realise the Wigan fans were so bitter and pathetic after what happened a few seasons ago.
Saying we deserve it after what we did to them, and its karma etc, and shun't we be trying to get some other teams points deducted again to give us a chance etc.
Its good actually that the majority of fans really do know what happened there, Wigan broke some rules and got caught and got punished for it. We as a club and a set of fans certainly weren't to blame for what went on.
