A game where Oxford are playing to hope to achieve 3 weeks LESS summer holidays and we are playing to hope to achieve 3 weeks MORE summer holidays. In any other walk of life there would be only 1 winner!

Agree Robinson is an irritating so and so but he is a fairly successful football manager and his side will probably have too much nous for us tomorrow. He is a big mate of Barker's and if we don't go up i half expect them to re-unite next season, allowing Barker to have more home life with his family in Hove.

I thought that too as it seemed a bit random and wondered if it was a clue to the discussion you had with a 'mystery' MMadster a while back?

I suppose he could be talking about any of us on here but I took it as Robinson who I totally agree with.

I see that now you mention it! In that case Avondale needs to make better use of the Reply With Quote button

In what way is Robinson succesful? He has never done anything. He got a good reputation early on in his career and I have no idea why.

The way our players are going down at the moment I can see us playing goalie when needed if we end up in the play offs. UTM

I'm not too sure Robinson has been that successful.I think he gained an over inflated reputation by being a manager at 29.Barker and him do go back a long way and I can't dispute your thoughts that, along the way, they will link up again, especially with Barker based in Brighton. That has to come into play at some stage.Either way I honestly cannot see Warne & Barker being in charge next season if we don't go up.I just think there will be a recognition from all parts that the journey has run it's course.
