As long as they stay in L1, then his job will be done. Strange as it may seem, he'll prob be under a lot less pressure at FGR.

I wouldn't worry about that too much. Forest Green don't have a fanbase that are obsessed with crazy gang type football like us. Their fans are a lot more modern thinking than ours, hence why they enjoyed Cooper and Edwards so much.

I don’t really care that Burchnall has gone, I think he’s generally underachieved. I do care that a 44 game season came down to one game where the manager knew he was going, and probably the players as well. I find it hard to believe that this didn’t contribute to our piss poor performance.

I like FGR, I think they’re a progressive club, but I hope they crash and burn with IB in charge.

What are the odds that our new manager is a current under-23s manager looking to make the step up? Or someone like Mike Williamson, who’s just got Gateshead promoted to the National League?
