    And if you read the background, you will see that the Governor-general in question, Kerr, didn't even consult the UK government before dissolving the Australian parliament, never mind the Queen. The constitutional framework that meant that the Queen remained head of state could have been amended at ANY time, had the Australian electorate chosen to do so. They hadn't.

    I don"t really hate her as half the monarchies are half Greek and our new Prime Minister is Greek also so it's all Greek to me

    Saw some pics today on some of the proceedings.

    Looks like she's way sharper than our ruler. Of course she had much more brains to begin with and hasn't had a couple of strokes.

    One things for sure. he'd never wear anything that brightly colored. Fecal matter tends to show up much better on brightly colored clothes....even with a diaper on. Also makes it harder on the secret service that have to carry his spare suit around. Might show through even the darkest suit carrier.
