I would like to see Grimsby win to get them out of this league- I hate playing them.
Will be interesting to see how Stockport - and whoever joins them - will fair next season in tier 4
Clubs who've gone up since Notts came down.........
Barrow
2021/22 - 21st
2020/21 - 21st
Harrogate
2021/22 - 19th
2020/21 - 17th
Sutton United
2021/22 - 8th
Hartlepool
2021/22 - 17th
The above stats would suggest our level (tier 5) isn't as strong as some would like us to believe.
Orient and Salford, the two that went up the season we came down, haven't set that league on fire either.
The year before that we've got two extremes, Tranmere doing very well but Macc Town.... say no more.

Solihull also have Adam Rooney as well. He is reportedly their highest earner on £2K a week. It was also reported Rooney was on £4K a week when he moved to Salford.
He’s getting on now at 34 and has scored five goals this season and will be out of contract after this season.
Joe Sbarra is only 23 and he’s scored 18 goals this season. If Solihull do not go up he would be a perfect signing for us as he’s young and out of contract at the end of the season. No doubt EFL clubs will be circling and watching.
I'm very keen for Grimsby to win.
Don't know if they will though, I rate Moors' team and players more. So got to pin those hopes on the haddocks' great mentality and will to win.
Only just realised this final is on Sunday 5th.
The winners will be playing their first EFL fixture on 30th July. Not much time to prepare.
NL season start date has apparently changed to a week later, 6th August (same as the PL)
Correction to Barrow's 2nd 4th tier season placing I posted earlier, they finished 22nd this season not 21st.
I never said it was fact it was rumoured. But in the same vein can people stop praising him saying he did his seasons spectacular on a smaller budget than Notts...Like you say can all of those stating this confirm it please. My source of information came from posters on their board at the start of the season, speculation I know but possibly more true than someone just telling us they're on a smaller budget...
My gut feeling tells me they have a decent budget as they have secured Dallas and Ellis

Big budget? Average budget? Either way from the outside it looks like he's done a great job to get Solihull to the final after an impressive 3rd place finish.
In his two full seasons at this level he's finished 3rd twice and twice got his side to the playoff final. Even his biggest and harshest critics on here when he was at Notts surely can't begrudge him this season's fantastic efforts.
Let's been honest who thought he would do this well with Moors this season?
I don't know anything about Solihull''s squad or their owner, so is it possible they've spent a fair amount on a small number of targets specifically but haven't generally spent more than anybody else in the top third?
If they have spent big and their chairman is loaded, why has he waited until this season? Their previous final positions would suggest they haven't been spending big.
