Firstly I would like to apologise upfront to DD for keeping a Wout thread boosted.

Right some comments from united fans after their 0-2 win today

Weghorst gave us the fight we needed in midfield where Fernandes just wasn't able/wanting to.

He won so many 2nd balls, pressed hard to win the ball with fred for our 2nd goal and played the killer pass too.


It also takes time to learn the style of a new league and settle into a new team. I think Weghorst is progressing well on those fronts and it manifested in some good play today.


Masterminded the Weghorst to no. 10 position - changed the game with MartÃ*nez coming on.

Wout as a 10 was a brilliant move and moving Sabitzer to right back to pin balls to left was also great.

Weghorst was reborn in the number 10 position and Martinez totally took control.
