I don't get how that is cautious.

As for the 'He should've been able to get promoted with the players at his disposal' comment, i absolutely disagree. We spent the bare minimum on players, we patched the squad up with loan players and budget wise we had the 12th best or worst budget in the division- Khaled has officially confirmed that too.

Duff worked wonders with the hand that he was dealt which is why most Barnsley fans are gutted to see him leave.

The next head coach has top weight on for us to challenge the top 6 if things go to script this summer and our best players depart.

You are probably expressing the majority view there Pass.
I just thought towards the end of the campaign Duff should have thrown a bit more caution to the wind and gone for gold - when it required it by changing the formation slightly to a more attacking style.
None of our middle 3 were causing opposition defenders many problems.
Luca is the holding midfielder so you can excuse him.

Players I don’t want to see leave are Collins, Kitch and Luca - I think it could be difficult to replace those 3.
If any of the rest leave they will be replaced.
I’m hoping to see more of Cotter this season.

When in reality the reverse happened and it was another good transfer window.

And now we have yet another drip drip drip of tales of woe.
The club is in good hands - in the best position in my lifetime.
The question asked in Post 12, to which the above quote is your answer, was " Will Lee, Conway and Hung turn up ? They have "poured in" £2.27 million of bought shares this past year compared to Parekh's £2.18 million. What do you think is their motive for doing that ?

With all respect Prime Minister, you have not answered the question I asked.

Parekh financed the last part of the season with share issues in March and May and bringing forward Season Ticket sales a full month to the earliest they have ever been sold.

The dreaded 'A' word will apply again soon at this club imo.

Not to mention the knock on affect when for the first time that anybody could every remember we bought the cream in the championship following relegation from the PL .

Hignett , Dyer , Sheron , Shipperley , Kevin Richardson , Chettle and even fecking Geoff Thomas .

Barnard turned Southampton down flat and we were billy big b@llax in the championship .

    I liked it .
