If NYS had a 16k capacity and let's say the away end bumped up to 5k then that's only 11k to home supporters and there's at least 7 teams in this division that would sellout that amount and a few more potentially on how they're doing in league. That's probably half of the home matches that's gonna be a gate of nearly 16k so for me I would be looking to expand now especially if we can stay a few seasons in this division.

A bigger crowd helps with the FFP, not just through ticket sales but commercial revenue.
    There is not enough interest.

Don't know what the payback is on that. Say an extra 50k after costs for 10 games a season, 500k per year. What is the construction cost?

Maybe move the team to Darlington and become Darlington United?

Don't know but once it's built it's there forever I suppose. If somehow we do a Luton and get promoted unexpectedly then we will miss out on a lot of revenue by having a stadium not big enough.

Very unlikely unless we get taken over by Qataris or something.

More chance of being relegated than promoted.

Like someone's already said this season every home championship game make it that we can only give the away club 1200 seats. No complaints then you can't get seats together for families friends together etc... that should persuade TS end of this season if we stay up to increase the capacity to 16,000 in the close season summer 2024.

I really don't get it. Let's spend 4 million to add 4000 seats so that Auntie Ethel can sit with young Archie on her one visit of the season. Bonkers.
