Deepest sympathy and prayers Bathlad. I can’t begin to imagine what you’ve gone through. Your son was a brave man and a credit to your family.

Wow, such great stories. When you see those veterans talking you just want to hug them and say thank you so much for your sacrifice and courage.

It just doesn’t compare to the woke, diversify, mental health generation bleating on today.

Also important we must not forget the incredible work that Combat Stress provides for our Armed Forces which is the UK's leading veterans' Mental Health charity, the work they do is life-changing & often life-saving.

Military personnel, veterans & direct family can all face unique risks & challenges to their mental health.
Being exposed to highly stressful situations, long periods away from home & the difficulty of adjusting to civilian life can all affect your mental health with problems at the time or years later.

    Postraumtic Stress Disorder (PTSD) from
traumatic events such as military combat, can have long-lasting "negative-effects" such as troubles sleeping, anger, nightmares, being jumpy and possible alcohol, drug abuse & dependency on prescribed medication.

Met some great ex-service folks battling on with genuine inner-issues of all ages in my time.
