Hugill scored two goals in the week and almost got another so he did deserve the chance to play today.

Not in the next game though.

We didn't and Ferguson found a way to expose our weaknesses. Give him credit for that.

We seemed not to have a clue how to respond to the change in circumstances and hold on to a lead. That is partly down to the way the team has largely been thrown together and is still apparently learning how to play as a team. It was the first time they found themselves in a commanding lead and had no tactics to deal with the evolving circumstances.

And that has to be a glaring weakness one can lay firmly at Evans's feet. Presumably he had no game plan for playing out a second half from a comfortable winning position against a capable side that were obviously well-marshaled during the half time break. OK, he wasn't expecting to be in that position but pretty shocking that he couldn't manage a tactical response for the circumstances he found himself in.

First half gave me hope for the future. The second half was further evidence that this is a collection of individuals who still have a lot to do to be called a team and who struggle with Evans's seat of the pants management style.
CT Miller, stop talking sense, probably the best report of the match. Just hope SE/PR read it and take notice.....but doubt it.....UTM.

I think the performance just about tells the story of the season thus far.........we are just very average. To concede so much possession is worrying but we have very little to offer in midfield. We have no Barlaser,Wiles,Lindsay or Rathbone.....we simply haven't replaced them. I'm not in agreement with Evans's post match. 3 -1 at HT flattered us to a point where I asked my Son one minute into the 2nd half what odds I would get for a Posh victory. At 18/1 I was seriously tempted to have a tenner on it. 3 minutes later I wished I had because it looked all over. Fair play to the team for rallying the storm and ironically we did have the better chances after that. I'm just hoping that the reintroduction of Kelly and Raggett give us some midfield structure and defensive solidity. It may just have to be the case of plodding on until January and at least keeping in touching distance of the top half and then seeing what we can do in the transfer window to push us up towards the play-offs from then until April. That,my friends,is as good as it's going to get for this season.

It was hard to see their 2nd and 3rd goal from where we were sat yesterday but having seen them both now on the reply, it's clearly an own goal from Rafferty for their 2nd and why didn't Hugill bully their big lad for the 3rd?

3-1 half time but you knew there were more goals to come, didn't think they would be coming from Posh. We had numerous chances to wrap things up and, so did they so 3-3 was a fair outcome in the end. My main worry is who will partner Nombe on Saturday as Hugill didn't put anything into the game like he did last Tuesday night and Asong just entered the pitch for a stroll apart form the one attempt to have a go at their end. Neither deserve to start but we're stuck with them!

Although conceding a lead is never good I was thoroughly entertained yesterday which is what it’s all about.
End to end, six goals and we went toe to toe with a fancied team on their own patch. Yes they had injuries but our best defender, best midfielder and our talisman striker weren’t available with the latter missing for part of the match .

Vast improvement from what was on show a few weeks ago. We haven’t lost for ages ( I’m ignoring the inevitable Birm defeat).
Defending not good enough yesterday which I am confident will be sorted on the training pitch
Some people have said we’re average. Average Town / United FC would not be able to give Peterborough the stern test that we did and let’s face it we should have won it with wonderful chances missed after they equalised

Raggett he's a plodder Kelly he's same as rest before him here on early retirement. Quite a few of our signings fall into those categories season upon season.

Bang average performances around the team. Didn't merit a two goal lead and squandered it because of amateurish tactics. Posh looked very tidy and with so many young players I think their future looks pretty bright. Should have stolen a win but we fell apart too soon in the second half.

Not even commenting on Hugill any more, it's embarrassing he's here.

I admire your persistence to keep pushing the positive aspects flour but you can’t polish a turd as they say.
We’re average and are going nowhere this season.
What’s that saying you can fool some of the people all of the time etc that's aimed at SE not you but it’s true just the usual bull from him.
We’re average just like the manager pal unfortunately.

Your comments on osong are ridiculous Brin he came on in the 89th minute and you are criticising him. Even then he did more for the team than Hugill did, he battled to win a ball at the edge of our own box, then played a lovely ball to his captain and we know what happened then, he also had one attacking run and the shot was blocked, I think he could have passed that ball.
