When we get to the meat of a season, why do some of you think they will do enough to keep us up?
Only 4 teams below us, whoever, would do that. We won’t.

The problems were there right after players disappeared in the summer…then in comes the dross.
TS in the interview to unveil our glorious new manager duo looked sombre and uninterested. Where is he now? No interviews, no word.
To lift an Evans quote….we are TS’s line manager, and we should voice our opinions.
Don’t go to the next home game. TS only understands one thing. He calls himself merely the custodian of the club.
Then if so, he should appoint someone alongside who knows football, because he doesn’t. Not use an ex financial manger or whatever he was.

Everything is so predictable, it is untrue.

George Kerr times. Pretty much a parallel there.

Waste of effort talking about it. Easy to see what's going wrong, and those who see it will say so, while those who want him around refuse to accept the club looks broken.

Boxing, few beers, Christmas rolling around - I'm not going to get down about something when those in the club aren't bothered.

Well, it's already the end of a season most of us feared would end this way when fatty BSd his way back in.
Only question is will we go down? Who can say, as he prepares to ship out the last vestiges of quality we had and replace them with.... well, what?
A burst binbag filled with milk who talks the talk but can't waddle the walk. Even Barton got that right.
I think big Tone should reflect now on whether he can honestly take us any further. No-one can slag him for what he's done, and a lot of us I think are realistic enough to settle for 3rd div with a few brief forays into second.
But I fear if we keep this goon and his mate, 4th div is beckoning.
And it's only one bad season from there to oblivion... as teams like York have discovered.

Sadly, it is going to take a new manager and the summer to sort the mess out. Someone should come in now, even Taylor could do better than this.

The bottom line for me is when hungbo and holmes or brammall are used fir some width, play changes and is promptly discarded.
Players played out of position adding to it.
And Evans is a stuck record by it all.

That and more should be more than enough for TS to know, it isn?t just about a manager, like Richardson said, a culture change needed.
And it scared the hell out of him.
Just getting lucky with warne is a terrible record of years being good choosing, at NYS not for the rest. Evans scraped by by just trial and error.

All we have now is errors.

I can count on one hand the amount of times I've left a game early. Today I left early. Why I waste my time and money on this shambles of a team I will never know.

For fif**** minutes in the first half we looked half decent. Kelly was busy and forceful in midfield and Powell looked up for it. That's it!

Wilkes could not have beaten me today. Holmes did more in his first five minutes as sub than Malik did all afternoon.

JCH didn't win one header but resorted to Hugill type tactics which did not work.

Jules looked like a novice and gave the ball away in dangerous situations on at least 3 occasions.

As for the large ignoramus on the sideline - he is totally devoid of any semblance of knowledge of how to play football in this league. Mansfield were agricultural but were up for a fight. We needed space to let our forwards run at their defence - play it out from the back and let the midfield spread the play to give us width and space. Not a chance! Put your foot through it, hope you get a lucky bounce or deflection then repeat. Why wasn't Hungbo even on the bench - he only played 3 minutes against Northampton - surely he can't be injured!?

The 1600 Rotherham fans suffering in the away end were restless. Chants of 'get out of my club Evans' and joining the Mansfield fans in the chant about his bulk gathered momentum throughout the second half. We urgently need to divorce ourselves from this narcissistic, excuse-laden, foul mouthed waste of space because he is dragging our club into depths we've not seen for years. I don't care if we have a caretaker who hasn't managed before - Peltier, Wood - anyone as long as Evans is shown the door.

    Now, where's that red wine!

The current period reminds me of the season after we got relegated under Emlyn, when George Kerr came in before the end of the season, signed all those Grimsby rejects in that summer and we became drab and dull. One exception - Joe Powell. Not perfect by any means, but too good for us.
Good post..I totally agree about Powell..great footballer..could play in any championship team..no doubt we'll flog him cheap..or for nought..like we do..

Don?t forget we want Evans to lose because we don?t like him.
    Cayton, NWC defend that?
He?s a fraud and out of his depth clueless manager. ****ing ****.
