Easier said than done mind. I don't buy into the 'easily replaced' nonsense a lot of our fans say when talking about players.

If you had asked me back in July my thoughts on us going into 2025 in third place I would have laughed. I would have thought top six, but not up in third.

That winning run we were on was a millstone around our necks and title talk was just stupid. Although it was nice to dream at times too.
I saw a recent interview that Willie Miller did where he was talking about his time as our manager rather than his playing career with us.

He was going on about how the first two seasons when we actually had a good side but overall he was disappointed that he never managed to win a trophy in those first two years.

The summer before his third season was when we lost experienced players like McLeish Bett and Richardson so he had to replace them with players he thought would be good enough to play for us because they had done well for other teams in the league.

He said that it became clear to him very quickly that some of those players were struggling because they couldn?t handle the pressure of playing for Aberdeen where you are expected to win pretty much every game.

To me personally I think we have a lot of those types of players in our squad now. I don?t mind McGrath and McKenzie for example but if we can?t manage to bring in better players than them when they leave we would be as well switching off the lights at Pittodrie.

Not sure if already mentioned or true, but just read on Twitter that Ruby and Palaversa are suspended for tomorrow's game due to suspension.

Be interesting to see how we line up.

    Suspended due to suspension?

The SFA will stop at nothing to hinder the Dons.

Game day. A fair bit of sna fallen around us over night, but assuming the city centre is clear and no doubts about the game going ahead.

Just win Dons. Any win will do.

    Heid first into them and...

The club have advised people to be careful travelling to the game, but no word of a call-off.

Still fair bit snow lying city centre but melting now and main roads clear. No more snow forecast so should be fine (albeit cauld). Side streets still a nightmare though.

Were suspensions ever confirmed? Thought I had read it was only Nilsen who was out today?
The SFA site lists stop at April 24?
