I do not think that I can remember a season where Albion have so often been the better side and either lost or drawn matches that they should have won. It is so disappointing and so depressing. The problem is that I am now expecting this to happen prior to each game. The bottom line is that no matter how well we play, we just cannot score goals. It does not help either when the goalkeeper concedes goals that should have been saved. I do not expect anything from Ashton Gate on Tuesday as Bristol are playing well.

Bristol's win now puts them above both Coventry and ourselves with us slipping down to 8th. Maybe all is not completely lost ref play offs yet as it's not as if we are playing particularly badly but our lack of clinical finishing and incisiveness is costing us. If we are to have any chance of finishing in the top six this needs to change sharpish. Meanwhile, my Dad and brothers are enjoying watching Blues who put 4 away last week and 6 today.

I'm in agreement with others and would start both Fellows and Johnston on the wings with Dike as C/F and drop Diangana and Armstrong. I'd keep Grant in as I think he, Styles and Johnston work quite well together on that side of the pitch. Having Furlong now back helps our attacking options on the other side but just hope Price is fit for our next game.

As for Wildsmith, yes, he has cost us goals but he has also made some decent saves (as against Norwich for example). Would Griffiths really be that much better is the moot question. Personally, I'm not 100% convinced but maybe time for Josh to get his chance.

We've had some tough games against the better sides in the Championship and these teams also know the threat that players like Fellows and Johnston can present and man mark them accordingly. This has made it both difficult and frustrating but we certainly don't help ourselves either. As others have said, we consistently fail to spot the runs of players and the stats regarding the ratio of shots to shots on target or the number of corners or balls in the box to those that are successfully converted must surely stand out as being in dire need of addressing on the training ground.

Credit to Wildsmith who after the match, knocked on Tony's and apologised and said he should of saved it .
From where we was in the Brummie it didn't look like a free kick in the Ist place ,another poor ref again .
We down not out , lack of goals have cost us . A bit of luck would help .
I'm still confident of not only getting in the play offs but winning it COYB

It was an act of gross stupidity selling Palmer; probably the best goalkeeper in the Championship and now we could well be facing him next season. Surely getting rid of Diangana would have been far preferable, he is a total waste of space these days. It has been so obvious of late that Armstrong is not a sole striker, no wonder crosses into the box are wasted, he is not tall enough against big defenders. Why bring Lankshear in and not play him? Give the lad a chance, we can’t be any worse. Mr Mowbray, what do they say about doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result?
