I'm not dieing with Myeloma I'm living with it, I have luckily managed to live so far 9 years with it and no major problems apart from chemo side effects.
Thanks for posting mate, good luck to you too.

Brave heart mate, living with Myeloma, your attitude is sod it, I'm here & will continue to live my life.
The treatment gives you side effects, but you carry on, be it I hope for years to come.
My wife had cancer in 1984 when I was on strike, but she beat it.

No case is the same, some patients do'nt find out they have it till they break a bone or bones, infections are common which could lead to organ damage, kidney problems, anaemia, fatigue and more.

Correct mate, my Wife's cancer was found when She went into hospital for a routine operation.
Same also last year my mate had problems with gall stones, they found kidney cancer, had 1 removed, still having treatment for other things.

Good luck to Ronnie , it was only ever banter with your hat in the early 80's .

Opposition fans don't target poor players only the ones they fear and respect which is why you got bucket loads of abuse from us .

Everyone's different but I went through it for about a year still having follow up scans but I only told from the start of my treatment a few people I drink with & some family. I went through it with my Dad & got some comments about him I didn't want him to hear. Me & brother used to take out from his regular pubs & clubs cause of that. I don't like a fuss I didn't want people like say pitying me.

Ronnie he's a legend in Rotherham but who knows what he's really like? When something like this hits you don't how you'll react. It might not be what he really wants what's going to happen today. Like me he might want to wait till after his treatment to see how that's gone.

Great post Animal. Of course, the King loved the song. I seem to recall him actually conducting it one time.
