If he has gone, then he must think that he can't fix our problems....which he would get massive respect for owning it.

Got texted earlier this evening - same source who normally correctly calls out line ups, including last week v the Huns when Watters, Sibbald, Graham and Strain were correctly predicted to be out. I personally hope this is bollox - things not great currently but not sure we’re in change of manager territory just yet. Definitely a better the devil you know right now for me.

I hope he has not resigned.
Definitely a better the devil you know for me and I have big respect what JG has done over last few years
I agree .
If though he hasn't then the club need to seriously consider taking action as his record of wins , not just this season but since the tail end of last season, is nowhere near good enough .
3 league wins this season and that is now I believe only 4 wins from the last 17 or 18 domestic matches . With the squad we have assembled that is extremely poor IMO.
Maybe moving him in to a director of football kind of role wouldn't be a bad shout as i do think he has an eye for a player.
I don't think we would finish in the bottom 2 but i do have concerns for us if he is kept on as manager and his statement pre season that the aim is to better last seasons league finish is most certainly never happening .
Oh well, nothing so far this morning. We'd presumably know by now from whether he was taking training today or not. Hopefully it's been the rumour mill operating at the max but make no mistake it will be for real if the finger's not oot the @rse pretty bloody soon like.
Agree?don?t think the rumour JG has resigned has got any substance. At least I hope not. JG has done well so far and we are definitely going through a bad patch caused by our defensive frailties and possible over coaching.
IMO he deserves the opportunity to turn things around.
Normally we get a rumour of a fall out at the training ground and takeover bid when we hit a long term slump.
Totally agree. But... when does it become too late?
I like Jim, he seems a decent bloke. But...yet again... the formation/system isn't working. Hopefully we get a few miracle results in the next 4 games or so, and all will be forgotten. But.........how do we approach these games?
Seen his interview on North Tonight there and he just says what we were all saying a few games into the season " It's like we need to score 3 goals every game to get a win as we keep giving away goals too easily "..........nae 5hit Jim, is it beginning to sink in now? Get rid of the 3 overseas cuddies at the back and go with 4 at the back. Luca RB, Ferry LB and Cleal Harding and big Ross at Centre Back then get Craig Gordon in until the seasons end.
They twa goalies will relegate us......we've seen it ah before 😫
